The first of four online gatherings embarked on the 28th of June, 10am ‘Tema Meridian Time’ (TMT, intentionally opposed to GMT). The session was a moment to introduce the process to the participants, and the participants to one another. The collective had a moment to share what they are currently working on as a way to initiate the conversation about their practices.
The session incepted some thematic ideas and shared vocabularies, to start mapping a constellation of concepts, including: revisiting timezones; expressions and reflections of migration, mythologies and lineage; and the beautiful mathematics of dancing honey-bees.
The first Zoom session of the Priority Mail Process Lab, participated by Lindiwe Matshikiza, Mwenya Kabwe, Elsa M'bala, Floy Krouchi, Simnikiwe Buhlungu, Orakle Ngoy, and Elisabeth Efua Sutherland. Edited by Nicola Pilkington
