A creation for 4 performers, White Dog gives voice to resistance against forms of injustice. It is an invitation to rebel against traditional codes and renounce classical genres and identities. On stage, an imaginary jungle is formed by a tangle of fluorescent vines. White Dog portrays flight and escape as forms of poetic struggle. Nadia Lauro’s stage design achieves a plastic, tactile translation of the relations and networks that dare ignore the codes. Combining a variety of genres, the creations of Latifa Laâbissi redefine traditional formats.
