Dans la forêt du monde, aux aguets, Catastrophe traque la lumière. Né en 2016, le groupe n’a cessé de se réinventer : aujourd’hui à 4 voix (Carol, Pierre, Arthur et Blandine), il présente un disque ciselé, délicat et menacé, qui tient de la pop contemporaine comme de la fresque cinématographique. Après La Nuit est encore jeune (2018, label Tricatel) et GONG! (2020, ibid), véritable explosion de joie collective, ce nouvel ovni plonge dans les profondeurs de l’introspection : la pop française s’y pare d’une gravité troublante.

Deep in the world’s forest, always on the lookout, Catastrophe seek the light. Formed in 2016, this group has never stopped reinventing itself. Now with four voices, it presents a precise and threatening record, as much contemporary pop as cinematic fresco. After the explosions of collective joy in La Nuit est encore jeune (2018) and GONG! (2020), this new album is a UFO plunging to the depths of introspection, adorning French pop with a new and troubling gravity. 

Associate artists at TNB, members of the group Catastrophe were seen at the 2018 TNB Festival with the hypnotic Tempête solaire, performed with Gurwann Tran Van Gie, as well as an atmospheric After Ubu (at the invitation of Étienne Daho). They returned in 2021 with the collective show GONG!, popped up in 2023 for a surprise concert, and are back again this season with their new album.
