FESTIVAL TNB
Since its first edition in 2017, the Festival TNB has been rooted in a desire to build a lasting relationship with the public, based on risk-taking, curiosity and encounters.
An important moment in the season, built with the complicity and participation of some fifteen cultural actors from Rennes metropolitan area, the region and beyond. The event is conceived as a precipitate of the TNB project and the sounding board of each season.
The Festival TNB unfolds over several weeks and invites to discover singular dramaturgies, aesthetics and currents of thought, "out-of-format" projects, new artistic experiences, from different territories around the world.
Since 2017, the festival has brought together artists from Egypt, Iran, Israel (extended focus), Afghanistan, the United States, Lebanon, Iceland (extended focus), Rwanda, South Africa, Russia, Brazil, Italy, the United Kingdom, Cape Verde, Senegal, Algeria, Mexico, Japan, Belgium, South Africa, Denmark, Albania and South Korea, Australia, Perou, Chili…
The 2020 edition should have reflected the vitality of pan-African creation, within the framework of the Africa2020, the proposals were spread out over time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
