3 actrices et acteurs en situation de handicap mental explorent un monde dominé par l’intelligence artificielle, dans une comédie drôle et engagée qui questionne la « norme » et nos vulnérabilités.
Sur scène, des experts échangent en réunion publique sur la domination croissante de l’intelligence artificielle et ses répercussions sur les droits de l’Homme. Et si l’intelligence artificielle prenait le contrôle du monde, les êtres humains finiraient-ils par vivre tous avec une déficience intellectuelle ? Et comment nous sentirons-nous lorsque nos capacités seront jugées à l’aune de standards sociaux algorithmiques ? Le public, lui, a tout de suite un aperçu de la réponse : les surtitres qui défilent prennent soudainement vie et bouleversent l’ordre du jour…
Une pièce percutante sur la responsabilité individuelle et collective, qui nous invite à revoir nos manières de prendre des décisions par-delà les comparaisons, au-delà des apparences.
Venu d’Australie, le théâtre de la compagnie Back to Back, rare en France, développe un travail unanimement salué qui illustre les relations complexes entre ceux qui souffrent d’une soi-disant déficience intellectuelle et ceux qui représentent la norme. Bruce Gladwin, artiste et metteur en scène australien, est le directeur artistique du Back to Back Theatre depuis 1999.
