TRANSMISSION PROGRAM AT TNB FESTIVAL 2022 #STUDENTS

21 – 26 NOV 2022

The 1st edition of the TRANSMISSION program was set up by the TNB Drama School as part of the TNB Festival 2022 : a genuine opportunity for training and exchange aimed at young artists, both French and foreign, at the start of their professional careers or still studying, this event further strengthens the Festival's ambitions of opening up to as many people as possible and anchoring the School in lifelong learning.

Selected following an individual call for applications, 10 students from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Austria, Israel, Slovakia and France were brought together by Latifa Laâbissi, choreographer and associate artist, and Élisabeth Banom, visual artist.

This workshop that took place 2nd week of the Festival TNB 2022, focused on the body and the notion of the "tableau vivant". Dance was used as a universal language to unite this community, enabling them to establish rapid links with each other.

Over the course of the week, they were able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the TNB and its Festival, starting with a tour of the premises to familiarise themselves with the different areas.

Alongside this workshop, the students followed a program of 5 shows throughout the week, attended the conference “Creating internationally, unique and contextualised creative processes“, before joining the 11th promotion of the TNB Drama School at the end of the week for a special discussion with the dancers from Lavagem, directed by Alice Ripoll, and the cast of La Ronde, directed by Arthur Nauzyciel.
