In 2001, Dance On Glasses, the story of a failed love affair, catapulted a young Iranian stage director onto the international stage. In 2013, Koohestani undertook the production of a DVD version of the play, but the enterprise soon ran
into difficulty. The gap between the past and the present was simply too vast. The director and his two actors stumble into the pitfalls of their own story. Pondering what they were and what they are today, they become caught up in a meditation
on their lives and their county. Timeloss, winner of a prestigious theatrical award in Iran, does not address the past as much as it reflects on what it means to look back on the past.
