A young man with the grace of an angel charms his way into the heart of a bourgeois family. As he seduces each member of the household in turn, the puritanism of these socialites is swept away by the winds of lust and transgression. Pier Paolo Pasolini’s novel Théorème is a dark star – a work of rare intensity which Pierre Maillet has adapted and directed with the desire to take on taboos. Théorèmes is accompanied by an adaptation of Pasolini’s lyrical and political self-portrait Qui je suis, discovered after the writer’s death.

A graduate of the very first class of the TNB Drama School in 1991, Pierre Maillet is a founding member of Théâtre des Lucioles, based in Rennes. His piece Letzlove – portrait(s) Foucault has been presented at TNB and toured regionally, while One Night with Holly Woodlawn appeared at TNB Festival 2018.
