Area H2 in Hebron is administered by Israel, the most heavily populated Palestinian city in the occupied West Bank. Destinies and dramatic life stories intersect, juxtapose, and clash in this violent and absurd microcosm.
Ruth Rosenthal and Xavier Klaine, a Franco-Israeli couple of artists and musicians, set out to meet those who regularly frequent the zone: ultra-orthodox settlers, Palestinian residents, Israeli soldiers, international observers, and political activists. The couple stage the complexity of the situation and, through their dramatic storytelling, transmit extraordinary testimonies.
