When rap and dance combine, the mix can be explosive.
Marion Siéfert lights the fuse. She is something special in the artistic universe, preferring the arduous route of creating her own material rather than taking the easier way and drawing on the classical dance repertory. To find her 2 female performers, she scoured the Parisian suburbs for months on end, battling through clashes and haunting countless venues in search of two rare gems. One is Laetitia Kerfa, aka Original Laeti, who raps without trembling in a profoundly masculine surroundings. The other is Janice Bieleu, who performs popping and lite feet dance with quiet confidence. The most surprising thing about this 100% female ballet is the elemental sisterhood that emerges. It is a superb demonstration of artistic fusion and infectious expression, transcending all differences. Be warned: the show is explosive!
