Their unconventional, iconoclastic shows mean they stand out on the Portuguese-speaking artistic scene. A group of actor-performers, Teatro Praga questions images of our times in a contemporary language—both visually and through sound—and in shows of exuberant vitality. Padam Padam is inspired by films about catastrophes, the kind about disasters (environmental, biological, nuclear, climatic etc…) and the end of the world. The figure of the hero, his adversaries, politicians, the scientist, the sequel and the remake, the final lesson, are all archetypes that have come under the subversive knife of Teatro Praga.
